Soap and Glory Shopping, Plus a Sneaky MAC Delivery

Well I found myself in Boots again today, I just can not be restrained, id seen last week at the Soap and Glory stand that if you spend over 12 pounds you get a eyeshadow quad for free! Armed with this information I told myself if the offer was still on then i could purchase some new make up, if not I had to leave empty handed! Luckily for the makeup junkie inside me the offer was still on, not so lucky for my cash card, I already knew i definatly wanted to try the Archery brow tint and precision shaping pencil so i picked that up, the very last one in stock so it was fate in the shade love is blonde. These brown pens can be found in two shades one for blondes one for brunettes, its both an eyebrow pencil at one end and a brow tint at the other it's quiet reasonably priced at ten pounds. As I needed to spend an additional two pounds I decided to get the smouldering kohl In super black, I hate a chalky eyeliner that drags on the waterline so I I'm hoping this fits the bill, it comes with a built in sharper which I like as forever loosing mine and it was only five pounds.

So next up is the quad which I got choose for free, there were three to choose from and I choose the neutral one called 'Whats Nude', it contains three matte shades and one shimmer. From swatching in Boots all four shades look to have good colour payoff, and I'm excited to see what I can create using this palette.

Next up is my cheeky MAC purchase which was waiting on the mat when I got home. It's the lipstick Riri woo, it's a retro matte finish and it's a classic red, Rhianna her self says its a spin on her favourite ruby woo. The colour which went on sale last Friday sold out in hours, however if you weren't able to pick it up this time it will be available next month with the further MAC and Rhianna collaboration.

I think I might pop back to boots this weekend to pick up another two products and get another free quad as I struggled to choose between the nude and smokey eye one. If I do go back I think I'm going to pick up the arch of triumph and I'm not sure of what else so if anyone has any suggestions or a can't live with out Soap and Glory product please let me know!

Pretty In Pink

Well hasn't today been a nice change from the usual dull and dreary bank holidays, so full of summer spirit, me, Lee and Tyler hoped over to our friends house for a BBQ. The kiddies got to do lots of running around and playing, while the grown ups ate good food and had a good catch up, which was well over due since I have been so busy with uni. Due to me being deathly pale and fair, the slightest glare of sun and im wacking the factor 50 on and trying not to melt in sun, so todays make up needed to be minimal but pretty, enter Dior Addict  Singuliere (465).

Ahhhh just look how pretty it is, I love the packaging it makes me so happy its my little bit of luxury and i feel really posh getting it out and using it. Dior says of the Dior Addict range;

'Inspired by the cutting-edge runway fashions of Dior, this hydrating and volumizing formula dresses lips with a veil of addicting color and spectacular shine.'

I would describe the color as a bubblegum pink, but not so bright its not wearable i think due to the sheerness of this lipstick it would suit most people, it can be worn very sheer or built up to a more opaque finish. I enjoy the fact that this product doesnt feel to heavy on my lips and can be applied quite easily without needing a mirror for application. It is a lovely colour and leaves a shiny almost gloss like effect on the lips so there is no need for multiple lip products you can just slick this on and your good to go.






The only downsides i see to this product is that it doesn't have huge last abilities i would say 2 hours max and i need to reapply, this could be due to the fact i do like it to look quiet opaque on my lips, i find if your constantly reapplying it 4 or 5 times in a day you do use a considerable amount of product, and at £24.00 a lipstick, boy it aint cheap!

I think i will repurchase this kind of lipstick again as i love everything about but I think next time I will repurchase in a different colour, i already have my eye on Paris, a bright neon pink.

Oh Hi There.......

Hi  and welcome to Leah Louise Loves, my tiny piece of web space to rant and rave all things make up related, especially lipstick...id be lying if i said it wasnt an addiction. Nothing excites me more than standing for hours swatching away on the hunt for the perfect lipstick, i dont have a favourite im not a one lipstick for life kind of gal, i switch it up and change every day. I do however hold a torch for MAC oh the smell, the packaging, the formula, the array of colours, gahhh they just excite me!

 A sneak peak at some of my lipsticks, i shall pre warn you there is ALOT of pink in there, and no two are the same in my eyes, i feel i need all the pinks MAC has to offer to be truly satisfied in life.
